Owls Two Ways (free pattern)


I just popped in to post up a duet of free patterns - more owls. I created a pair of universal patterns for simple one-piece owls, one knitted and one crocheted. These 2 patterns are together in one PDF for FREE DOWNLOAD HERE! (Ravelry.com PDF download.)

    Those Owls are adorable.....if I can ever tear myself away from The Beekeepers Quilt I love to make some. I also would like to know, just in case, if we are allowed to sell them. thank you so very much for sharing this with us

    I'm knitting one of your owls for a friend's baby, but I'm confused about how to finish it off. What do you mean by "using tail, stitch under both legs (loops) of both stitches that face each other when the top is pressed flat. Stitch to other corner, secure end." I also don't understand how the corners will end up higher, creating the ears. Any help is appreciated! :) Thank you!

    I love this pattern!!! I just made the sweetest owl for my 3 month old neice. I stuffed the bottom of it w/ part of a wal-mart bag (she likes the crinkly noise) & the rest w/ poly-fil. Love it. Thank you for such a fun, easy pattern.
